starting problem
I just installed a brand new starter on my 78 f150 4x4. For the first few days it sounded great. Now it starts rough and right after it starts it shuts off and i cant keep it running even when i accelerate. the whole car starts to shake and vibrate real bad and it runs very rough when i give it gas. I dont know if its the fuel filter or just tuned wrong. I thought that it might be that the flywheel is chipped. i took off the starter and some of the tips of the gear were chipped and worn and its only 1 week old. The fly wheel also has the same deal. I also pulled out some small metal slivers from where the starter is installed. Any help at all would be great thankyou.
