Hi all from Canada

I just joined this Ford site and have a 10 year old Ford F150 (1997), I plan to keep my truck forever
I need just 1 bit of info on my truck, I have a 1997 F150 short box 4.2 liter, standard 2 wheel drive, my question is ................. it says on my truck it's a 50th Aniversery Addition............... is that just a sticker or do I have something special in my truck? I am ammazzed because I have owned my truck since new and after every wash the finish just sparkles like new and I have no rust anywhere?......... I am no mechanic and do my own routine oil changes etc. My largest cost has been my 2 catalytic converters last month, the truck is a dream and a real good looker................ but I was wundering if the Special Aniversery Addition means anything for the 10 yrs of perfect running and looks.
Thanks and looking forward to exploring this site.
Dennis

Welcome TigerDen from a fellow Canadian.
Congrats on your fine ride, I don`t consider a 97 Ford F150 all that old as I`m into the 53-6 F100`s!
For info on your truck drop into the 1997 - 2003 F150 forum: https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/forum25/
I have no idea about the 50th Anniversary Edition, it`s nice to hear that it still looks like new.
Your local Ont. chapter: https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/forum93/ is another good place to post an intro in.
Thanks for joining, enjoy this site and we`ll see you in the forums.
