Bill, got any long established boat yards nearby? Check 'em out, you might just find some new Y blocks stashed away. One a the members here found not only new Y blocks, but crates of new parts. Only problem is, they are located in a geographically undesirable area, so the shipping costs would be horrible.

N.D.---Yes--we are right on lake Erie and I will check them out...These were used for marine purposes alot---huh? I didn't realize that! I think if I cannot locate a yblock ,will go with a 6 -223 and hope to find 1 cheap also.....I wish the yblock from the 56 wrecker was good-----would cost 1500 plus and wife said no and to look for a good engine.....I haven't rebuilt an engine since 1980s and in no condition now to do that.......thanks Bill you are the best!!!
