PO 340 code changed CPS-same code set
Truck loses power until it dies. Then restart is hard and no power. Checked codes found PO 340. Changed CPS and went out on test drive. Nothing changed. Set PO 340 again. What is happening? I have searched and read very similar symtoms. IPR and injector o-rings or a new CPS that is bad? Truck will start when cold and seems to happen when it is warm. If the injector o-rings are bad does it leak fuel into the engine or just bypass oil? What should I check next? The truck is a 95 f-250.

That code your getting could be from long cranks. The cps is probably fine.
Have someone check your injectors. It could be the IPR or the injectors doing this to you. Also hows the motor oil? have you checked the HPOP resivor on top of the motor?
