WE need more info....

do you have the engine open?
did you do a compression check on the cylinders?
are there any external fluid leaks?
do you have antifreeze odour out the exhaust?

Water in the oil will emulsify (milky), needs to be investigated..

I know there's an article somewhere on the net (might be at TRS) that details the history of the 4.0 V6. There was a link posted here (maybe in the 2.8, 2.9, 4.0 forum) to that page, but it never got stickied, so I don't know how hard it would be to find here. I know there are a few differences between the 1st gen 4.0 OHV ('90-'94) and the 2nd gen ('95+). Things like differences in the combustion chamber and piston shape to give it a little higher compression ratio and stuff. I do not know how interchangeable parts are between them.

no i dont have the engine open im still driving it i have no choice cause its my ride to work and im moving to ca in 2 months and i need the rig but u think the sealer would work for now? it would smoke at the traffic light just little puffs thats if the car sits for awgile or if its cold. i notice on cold start ups it kinda has a miss to it. ford told me if i ran it long like that i can scratch the cylinders. im gonna see on getting a compression check on next pay day hopefully the truck can last that long.

If the compression test is OK (buy a gauge $20), you probably have a lower intake manifold leak (common)(4hrs and $120+ to fix).

If you leave it too long the antifreeze will contaminate the cat and O2 sensors (big $$$$).
