Any of u guys have any experience with what these chips could do for a 460? I got a 1995 F350 with a 460ci engine. I have a true dual and a cold air intake, and would like to get an extra boost. And yes I know i would need to run high octane fuel but whats ur take guys?
hi i bought a jet chip for my 96 it seemed to help . i took it off and had to have a custom chip burnt to get aif fuel right with supercharger .. i pesonally think the best bang is headers if you dont already have them . my jet chip is for sale it has 14 miles on it just enough to get me to the dyno shop will sell cheap. also have a jet electric trans box check there website for details . will make a great deal on both . let me know thanks chuck
Ya I would buy them, but need for absolute sure that they will fit and work. Is there any information I can get from you from the equipment that i can call JEt about to see if they will match or fit...
thru the years i have tried lots of little things. which add up to some cash...
only real change i have noticed is that the T. body spacer makes this truck pull 6% grade hills about 10 mph faster with 28 ft enclosed trailer. no real mpg better though.
but put this on at better than 105k miles. so im sure the old 460 is not as bullett proof as it once was....
come back john force---sunday pm is not fun without u...
please post your results.
think mine cost 265.00 almost 7 yrs ago.
my 350 is rust free 10 yr old truck with old tech.
it does the job but starting to envy these guys with the 450's pulling two backhoes and heading down the road 75..
Ya I know what you mean man, but dont let it get to you, because your treating ur truck with great respect for keeping that in good condition, I personally think our model trucks look better and are stonger. the other day at home depot I had to put an entire pallet of blocks on my bed. It weighed 3,500lbs and the guy there said he was nervous to put that much weight on my truck, but little did he know my truck barely moved, and handled and drove perfectly, he said that alot of guys come in with there new trucks and there bumpers are sagging to the ground almost because the way they have soften up the suspension for a more all around softer ride. I love my truck and I havent scene or riden in a truck that I would take over mine
