Full float or semi float

You should have a full floater. Easiet way to tell though is to look at the wheel mounting surface. If you have a large protrusion from the middle of the wheel, it's a full floater. A semi floater would be flat in the middle.

Is it safe to assume that all front 4x4 axles are full float? The descriptions I've read about semi-float is that the axle shaft bears the weight of the vehicle. Doesn't seem like the front axle shafts would be strong enough to support the weight of the vehicle with the u-joints in between the diff and hub.
