Talking Looking for headers

I was wondering if any of ya'll fine gentlemen can tell me where I can find a set of headers for my 1990 F250 7.3 N.A. Cut the soup bowl off it did make a difference and currently not ready for the turbo thing yet. Thanks in advance.

Stan's Headers is the best source. Probably the only source. You can check out their webpage; go here for an actual pic of the headers:

You might want to do a forum search for "headers". There are pretty mixed reviews on just how much they actually improve power output. I'm not slamming them - they're certainly a consideration if you want to remain NA. But before you shell out $500+ (with shipping, etc), be sure this is the way you want to go.

I have em, I love em. Took a lot of fabricating to build a cross over pipe to a Y to run out to the back. 4X4 with tansfer case and front fuel tank complicates trying to run staight duals out of the headers. They come with 2.5" oulet, I increased to 3" from each side to a Y, then a 4" full flow back. Sounds great and makes the truck MUCH peppier, however actual horse power increase is about burning more fuel. With the headers I believe the airflow is improved enough that I have turned up my fuel screw just over a flat, towing a 18 foot flat deck trailer up B.C. hills 2nd gear at the top 2500 rpm, noticeable black smoke, not excessive IMO, and tops out at 1100 on the EGT right at the out let of #5 cylinder. Had I gone to 3 inch right from the stock manifolds, I could probably acheieved nearly the same thing, but it is a bit about the bling and chrome, kids gone so can spoil myself. Like my dad sayes about the old day's, if wont go -chrome it. LOL

I believe wh336fire has also put a set on his second truck (I think) and had a turbo on the other truck, and found the power to be more responsive, didn't have the "lag time" of a turbo- hopefully he will read this post and give a comment!

Dyno tests have shown that the power gain is negligable. Around 7-10 hp. Not the advertised 40Hp

wonder what the torque gain was and how the over all graph looked. peaks are great but long tube headers like Stans should greatly increase the overall torque/hp power band.

I dunno, I tried to find the thread over at TDS. But they've changed their software, and searching the archives is impossible.

The consensus was, that the headers were not worth the monies.
