EGR Codes
Hi guys.
I'm normally on the F150 forums but I now have a Ranger question I need some help with. My Dad has a 2001 Ranger super cab, 4.0 L, 4x4, automatic trans, off road package. The check engine light has been coming on and off intermittantly for a couple of months. I brought my scanner up last weekend and pulled two codes, P0401 and P0402, insuffient and excessive EGR flow. My question is, is the problem the EGR or DPFE? What do all think? Thanks in advance for any and all help.
