Need help cracking the code
I want to determine whether or not my 7.3 litre PowerStroke engine is the original motor installed by the factory. Is there a way to cross/match the engine serial number near the oil filter header to the VIN?

I would imagine that the dealer has all of that info in the system. If you give your VIN number it is my understanding that they have all the items that were put on your truck when it left the factory.

A dealer may have access to that information. I have the original window sticker. Does anyone know of anything available on line? Is there a way to decode the engine serial number for information that links it to the VIN? Anyone know where the hidden VIN locations are for my truck? 1995 F350 Crew Cab Dually
