I have got a 1998 mercury mountaineer and it is leaking antifreeze off of the front of the motor....not enought to cause it to over heat just enough to be noticeable. all the hoses are in good shape, does this mean the waterpump could be leaking?

 

what engine are we talking about?? The OHV or SOHC!

 

SOHC....just replaced water pump lastnight, bearing was sticking...but still wandering if it is the thermostat housing
