super cab owners I'm taking a poll on rear seat

Bench seat here. It's been folded down with my tools on it pretty much since I bought the truck. I did cram one of my buddies back there once for a very short trip. he had to sit sideways just to fit his legs in.
I would remove it for the extra room but then I wouldn't have a flat loading surface like I do now.

Ive got 2 SuperCabs with jump seats, 1 SuperCab with a bench and 1 Supercab with the bench removed. I like the bench the best and ability to fold the it down and put stuff on it. Ive thought about replacing the front seat with some captains chairs or some other seat to give more room for the back. If you need to haul around 6 adults then you need a Crew Cab.

It wouldn't be hard to fabricate brackets to raise the bench seat up for speakers, etc. With camping (nights) daughter, wife & I are in the back, the twins sleep on the front seats if it gets stormy. Wife likes a hard shell around her at night, the kids have their own tents. I went to Goodwill and made curtains to close off the cab. ( Like the ones you can buy for a motorhome ) Sliding windows and a boot seal the topper to the cab.

Jonas1022 - Just a thought, get some carpet remnants that fit the "carpeted area" and set them down with small sheet metal screws around the edges. That should keep them in place and still let you take them up for cleaning or replacement. I've seen that done in p/u beds. Small 3/8" screws with flat washers.

I have a '75 F250. It came originally with the two jump seats. I replaced them with a bench seat because I wanted seat belts back there for the kids.
I like the fact that it folds down flat, and the fact that when folded down, it's a little higher than the floor of the cab.
I had to weld the latch that holds the seat back up onto the cab.
The reinforcing blocks for the seat belts were already installed. I just had to pull out the rubber plugs and chase the threads with a tap and the belts just bolted right in.
