i've got one for a '96 4L Aero I pulled out...required 91 octane gas, caused hard engagement shifts

more power may mean less engine life!

No doubt, the ford engine power/torque curve can be modified by playing with injector pulse rates ,ignition timing etc, etc. But can you live with a probable drop in reliability or engine wear leading to shorter engine life?

Horses for courses I guess!
