Bent Something?

Well I was messing around in the snow a couple of months ago and I was going about 5mph, My wheels were turned to the right and I hit a curb. Now my steering is a mess. I don't know anything about suspension. My truck is a '93 F-150 4x4. Any suggestions or ideas as to what I did, maybe a tierod is what I have been told but I don't know. Thanks for your input on this.

Tie-rods usually are the first thing to bend in that type of hit......and the steering will be awful after it too. Even though it was slow speed....LOTS of weight pushing when it hit.
It could be more....I know you don't want to hear that.....but.....ball joints, A arms, Spindles, Hubs all bend and break. Might have bent the rim too.....even pulled lugnuts through....wheel could be cocked.........

Look at the bad side and compare it to the good side.....things should all look the same. Get it to an alignment shop and have them check the alignment.......they will be able to tell you what is bad.

Good Luck

Thanks for the info. Yeah I figured that it would be something that I have no clue about, I guess I better get smart real fast.

What is your steering doing?
Is it pulling to one side? Is the steering wheel off center?
Tie rods are the likely culprit. There not too hard to change with the right tools and not expensive.
curbs are tough on rims too
Good Luck
