cat-back

I went with a Gibson cat-back system. Really pleased with it, the install was relatively easy (muffler required a bit of "encouragement" to slip off the cat).

The sound is subdued, but louder than stock. No doubt there is something better under there, there is a 3 inch pipe all the way from the Gibson muffler to the exit tip.

Performance? Fantastic improvement. Wouldn't have believed it if someone had told me, but my BB has the same giddy-up now as a Mustang GT I had a back... better run up, a good seat-of-the-pants improvement. Stock exhaust must have been really restrictive.

Oh - if you take Popular Science, there's a 1/3 off coupon in there for Carparts.com - up to $100 off with the coupon code. The Gibson system was UPS drop-shipped from Gibson in California for $270...

My setup is '93 BB, 351W, E4OD, 31" Proform ATs. Otherwise bone stock.

Good luck.
Mike
Good luck.

I like my Dynomax setup. Kind of loud with alittle interior resonance. But it sounds tough, and with the K&N filter kit I deffinately feel the truck is more responsive.

1995 Bronco Eddie Bauer- 351ci- 4" Pro-Comp lift- 32" Dunlops- Front & rear Maniks- K&N FIPK- Dynomax 3" catback- Awia Head and changer.
