Freeze plug replacement
I need to replace a freeze plug in the back of the block on my 91 F250 7.3 diesel. I have the truck apart and have the plug. Do I just put the plug in, seat it against the flange and peen it in the middle? Or do I need to put some type of sealer around it and then do the other things? Any helpw itll be greatly appreciated!!

if you are doing this with a freeze plug installer tool then follow its directions.
i would recommend to put some permatex orange/red silicone
i think its r28
around the edges to keep it sealed. thats what i did.
