overheating problem?
I have a 1998 f150 with 41,000 miles on it. belonged to my dad that thought 40 mph was racing. I bought it and 2ooo miles later #7 plug fouled, heater would blow hot- temp would spike for a second - blow antifreeze out of degas take- then heater would blow cold. changed plugs, flushed coolant system,refilled, let it run with cap off for 1 hour to let air bubbles out. still doing the same thing. I have saw many posts on this site about the same issues, but no one ever follows up with want was wrong. can you help? no codes.

4.6 engine. did a exhaust gas sniffer test on coolant tank last night- fluid changed color from blue to geen, but yellow showed exhaust and it didn't go there.
