Powerstroke in the Ford LCF's

I believe it's a 4.5L 6 cylinder diesel. Is there any plans to put this engine in any smaller truck. I've got to imagine that you'd get fuel savings without sacrificing much power. I think it would be great to have an F-150 with that engine.

V6

From the Cornbinder site:

From Ford's LCF site:

https://www.fleet.ford.com/showroom/...m/2007-LCF.asp

If Ford has any brains they won't put it in an F150.

The 4.5 is the V6 version of the 6.0 Powerstroke, this v6 was actually developed for Ford to use in light trucks several years ago but Ford backed out on the deal.
Ford is reportedly going to go with the 4.4 V8 in their F150s now and no it won't be the replacement for the 6.4.
