I purchased my new Ford from Jack C. at Corwin Ford in Mannington.

SO FAR great dealership and very good negotiations and final price!

Rod ya think Mike could handle a double dose?

Remember, I have two pipes so that would actually be a triple dose.

PS. I don't get to Elkview till about 7:00 AM Monday morning.
Then we work 12 hour days and leave Thursday about noon or so.

Last week it was raining Thursday, so we left at 8:30.....I guess we are going to be doing 13 hour days next week to come up with 40 by Wednesday

Wow I missed several posts this week.

But the 14 hour days kinda took all the typing out of me.
Took damn near everything else outta me too.

Right, I am back to Elkview in the morning for another round.

Hope we can cut the length of the days down a little this time around.
We did get to work last Thursday, so it will not take so many hours a day to get over 40 for this week.

With stacks I don't have to slow down to smell the smoke.

Ya gotta remember, work is bad for your health! Of course being broke sucks too.

The moral of this story is there has to be a happy medium somewhere...I'm still searching.

Not for me, I love my job.

I get to rip stuff up all the time.
I make the biggest mess you can imagine out of every place I work.
People say thanks.
They give me money.
They give me referals for more work to all their freinds.
There are many people on a waiting list, waiting for me to come to them to make a mess at their place.

I love my job, it's a lot more fun that staying home.

Please remember folks, don't try to make a mess like I do, I am a professional.

Right now I am cutting grass, 15 feet below the roots.

The hill is chasing me, it moves 17" every 5 hours.

But it don't stand a chance, I have a Cat excavator and I am cutting grass.

I do tree trimming as well.
Trim them well below the roots as well.

After I trim trees I can do camp fires.
Have you ever toasted marsh mellos while sitting 200 feet for the fire?

I like it when the flames are going 3 to 4 hundred feet in the air.
Stack it 40 feet tall and about 60 feet across in both directions.

Not everyone is serious enough about their fires that they use superchargers on them.
I am though, I use two.
Two 1.5 HP 240 volt fans blowing air into the bottom of the pile of wood through 24" culverts 20 feet long.
After you turn the fans on, the fire gets so hot that there are no visible flames below 100 feet, then nice blues and yellows for a couple hundred feet.
Looks cool.

Today we built a retaining wall out of 3800 pound concrete blocks, set 28 of them today.
When I build a wall I am serious about it too.
But since the slide I am trying to fix has about 500,000 tons of dirt moving it is going to take a serious wall to stop it.
So build a 2000 ton wall, then reinforce the soil from 1/2 the slide and it should balance the remaining slide.

Building houses was fun, rebuilding mountains is even more fun.
God, I love my job.

But the nice thing about appearing crazy is they leave me alone and stay out of my way.

I work hard at appearing crazy.
So far it is working for me.
