Question on knock sensor...

Guys I just got a 99 Explorer 5.0 shortblock and I pretty much have everything bolted down as far as heads, cam, roller rockers and headers.. My question is this where is the knock sensor located on the 99 Explorer shortblock? It's not where my old knock sensor location was which is in rear on top of the block? Is it critical to run a knock sensor for the computer in my 92 F-150?

If the mounting boss is there on the explorer engine (I think it should be), just drill and tap a hole in the same place as on the stock truck engine.
