Ok, I put together some detailed instructions to getting to this place if you are coming from Interstate 35...

Traveling North on Interstate 35, get on 35W...
Traveling north on Interstate 35W, you will get off on Highway 67 in Alvarado...
Turn Right...
Travel about 23 miles, you will arrive in Cedar Hill...
Take the Exit for Cooper St, Stadium Dr, Belt Line Road...
Travel thru the first intersection, Turn Left on West Belt Line Road...
Travel about 2 miles...
Turn Right on West Belt Line Road (Yeah, this is right) (If you continue straight, it turns into Mansfield Rd)...
From Here, its about another 2 miles to the park...
If you don't pass West Spine Road, you haven't gone far enough (You'll go for a little ways, there won't be anything, then you will come up on this, just in case there are no street signs...)...
You will hang a hard left, and it will be the first entrance on the right...

No Storm, I will NOT SUPPLY these directions in CRAYON!!!

Count me in too! It would work out for me as it happens that my family and I am throwing my mother an 60th birthday bash. Most of the family lives in Dallas as well as my parents. SO...we had planned on April 14th....what an mysterious thing that it happened to be the same date as this meet? Maybe we need to do an roll call to see who is attending...to get an idea of the number of people who are going.

Since I can get lost finding the bathroom in my own house I can use all the help I can get finding the place. I can get to Cedar Hill. Is there more than one entrance to Cedar Hill State Park, East shore of Joe Pool Lake? Any directions will be appreciated.

if you are going south on 67, get off on west belt line road, turn right (west) on west belt line road...go for a couple of miles, west belt line road turns off to the right (if you continue straight, its mansfield road, you'll then go a few miles to a hard left turn and then it will be the first entrance on the right...

John - To make sure I'm clear .... do I stay on Belt Line or go straight on Mansfield Road? If there is a way to get lost, I will find it. Thanks.
