Important check engine light question
My check engine light on my '96 has been on continuously for a while now, and I finally took it in to my mechanic so that he could pull the error codes. Well, he tells me that the data unit is getting no power, and because of that he can't pull any error codes or anything off of the truck. He says that it is probably a broken wire somewhere, and that I will have to take it to a dealer to figure it out. Does anyone have any ideas what could cause this, or had the same experience? Thanks in advance!!!

Important check engine light question
The lower right terminal #16 (light blue with white trace) in the dlc should be B+. It comes from fuse 16, 15amp, in the fuse panel. Thats a good place to start. Norm.
