injector pump
okay well i have not had alot of power out of this truck since i bought it. the injector pump , injectors have been replaced by po. my friend said that the timing is reterded a little on the truck. (he said the line on the pump is more towards the dirvers side. my question is how much will this hurt milage and performance. if i advance the pump will it run better. also can i over advance it and what would that do to my motor? thanks for any imput

With the cold advance on I hear a powerstroke rattle out of my engine, as soon as the cold advance cuts off, the rattle is gone. If you can advance the IP, engine not running, about 1/2 a line at a time until you find that magic mark, you are not likely to hurt anything.
