Ok so I have been looking at upgrading the trans in my truck for the steel gears. The tras was rebuilt back in 2003 but still is fine, just worried about the gears mainly. But I was talkign to a transmission guy, and he said there is a good chance that when it was rebuilt that it had steel gears put back into it. So that being said without tearing into it too much is there a way to tell what is inside? If it has steel then im just going to get a BTS valve body and TC.
