engine problems
ok i have a 1991 ford f-150 xlt with the V8 5.0 Liter engine. for some reason its pushing out steem from the pipe. now iv cheaked the oil, it doesnt show signs of the head gasket blowing. so where could this come from? it doesnt run rough or anything like that. what could be the problem? its been sitting for a year and a half, and i just fixed it last month. could it just be built up water in the exhaust? should i get it tuned?

What do you mean by tuned? And what did you do to fix it last month? Steam out the tailpipe is usually a sign of a blown head gasket or a cracked head or block. Just because it's not getting into the oil doesn't mean something's not wrong. Are you losing coolant?
