which leveling kit

I am looking to purchase a leveling kit for my new truck and wanted to get opinions on which one would be best. For my suspension lifts I went with Pro-Comp, and loved the ride. Does it really make a difference with the leveling kits? Is one better than another? I was looking at Skyjacker. I also had another concern. Before I go ahead with it, I want to make sure there isn't any chance of the front being higher than the rear. I want to know that the truck will sit level. I hate when the rear sags even more than I hate the front sagging. I noticed that there are 2" and 2.5" leveling kits. Please, any input would be appreciated!
Thanks
BJ

I have a 2006 F350 cc fx4, i went with the Donahoe Racing 2.5" leveling kit. The kit comes with larger front springs and front shocks, i also purchased rear shocks. It sits perfectly level from looking at it,havent actually measured anything, the ride is better, body roll has been reduced, bigger tires, its just a great kit. Recommended.

Thanks for the input. I will take this into consideration when purchasing the kit, which will hopefully be soon. My biggest concern was going from a slightly sagging front end to a sagging rear end if I beefed up the front. I know it's called a leveling kit, but wanted to make sure the truck really is level once the kit is installed. Nothing is worse than a saggy rear!
Thanks
BJ

I'm having the donohoe racing 2.5" leveling kt installed on my 05 f250 tomorrow. Everyone I spoke to said it was worth the extra $$ to get new, progressive rate springs and donohoe shocks over spacers and lesser quality shocks. I'll post pics asap so you can see if it's truly level.

Hey blueovalgirl,

What year is your truck? and what engine? I think a 2" leveling would work out to where it doesnt sag in the rear, I think most of the 2.5" kits will have a little rearend sag but that can be fixed by some f350 rear blocks or some aftermarket ones.

When I lifted my 03 F-350 with the DR 4.5" kit the dealer for the kit told me that the fords look like the back end is squatting when they are technicallly level so I chose to lift the rear along with the front with blocks to keep the nose down look. To me the level or nose up looks like the truck is carrying a bunch of weight in the bed.

Yes, definitely need to know the year of yours. The leveling kit for my 00 will be diffirent than that of an 05.

If you have a leaf spring setup in the front, I went with a Cage Offroad Leveling kit. For awhile the front sat about an inch higher than the rear, but they've been broken in since then, and now because of the hood and front portion of the truck... it LOOKS higher, but when comparing the lower body points the truck is actually level to the ground.

It looked weird to me, like my rear end was squatting. But when I park it next to a stock Superduty, you can see the "hot rod" angle the stock truck has, and the leveled angle mine has.
