4-Lo problems
Greetings to all of you Blue Oval faithful! I own a 2002 F-150 4x4 Scab Lariat with a 5.4 and automatic. It has been a damn good truck with very few problems so far. About two weeks ago it got very cold here in SD for about a week and a half. During this cold spell I noticed a humming sound coming from one of the front wheels. I researched it here on this site and came to the conclusion that I had to change one of the front hub assemblies. But yesterday I noticed for the first time that the 4-Lo light was not lighting up when I engaged 4-Lo (automatic on the dash switch.) I was wondering if the noise might be related to this? Could it be the transfer case or something else in the front end? Any replies will be greatly appreciated. Thanks and stay Blue, Ford Blue!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
