Transfer case part problem
I have a 1979 Ford f250 with an NP205 transfer case...it is gear driven.. now heres my problem i have the whole truck apart to clean up and paint and so fourth..well i started making my gaskets and everything and took the idler shaft cover off the rear of the t-case...there is a rubber grommet or nipple in there, and if you lift it up you can see that the nipple goes into the idler and of course i was an idiot and ripped it off...now i cant find the part anywhere...i was wondering where i could find it or what it is actually reffered to as...thanks in advance...

There is an exploded diagram of a 205 transfer case on pp 177-179. Maybe you can identify the part there.

As far as finding the part you may want to try somewhere local to you that rebuilds transfer cases. They could probably get it.
