Does your truck have a name?

Add my old 74 to the list of "betsy's". Not sure why there are so many, it just came natural for some reason. Must have been in a comic or something like was suggested. My 81 step side was christened as "Ethel" by my brother and I on the night I bought it many years ago. Cold Ethel to be exact. For some reason the name matched the silver paint job in our minds.
Good topic folks, I think I'm gonna go call my brother and see if he remembers...

My current Ranger doesn't have a name....yet. My 82 VW truck was Kermit, because it was green. My 89 Ranger was 2 9, because it had a 2.9L in it (I guess 4 0 would be fitting, but doesn't have the same ring to it.) My 94 F-150 was Big Red, cause it was red. I bought a 83 Merc Grand Marquis off a friend because I wanted the engine, and he called it Nipples, because it had dual exhaust that just stuck out under the bumper, looking like a pair of nipples.

"ole red" I guess because every vehicle I have ever owned has been red. My last ford truck was red too and it was a great truck, but no 4x4 or extended cab-so it had to go. Before "ole red" was red it was the "redneck limo". I think "ole red" will have to change once it is completly rebuilt.....maybe "mayhem" as I still have those personalized plates from my Trans/Am.
