Hi, I'm Scott from East TN. I have a 2001 F250 Lariat 4x4 Supercab Super Duty diesel
Love my truck, only had it a few months now..... traded a gas burner same make and model in on it that I drove for 10 yrs.... can't believe the difference in power the diesel has for a 15 yr old truck. I have read some of the posts here from time to time, and has been very useful in solving problems. .. so I decided to join.

Didja finance or buy outright?
Something like what you bought is gonna be my next truck. Been my plan all along, to go from an F-150 to an F-250 with a 6.2 Diesel, definitely gonna be a 4x4 (went through the winter of '96 in a two wheel drive Ranger). Never again, even though I had the bed loaded down with 1000 lb. of tube sand, over and behind the axle, I seemed to get stuck every other time I went out.

My local dealer messed up on the service of my F-150. The Service Tech did not torque down the lug nuts when he/she did the tire rotation. I had 8 loose, 2 came off, and the wheels were not mounted right. I called the dealer and made the complaint. They gave me a great deal on the F-250 that I could not pass so I traded the F-150 and Mustang in for the SD. Im not upset about it and they took care of me.
No matter, you've got a fine, brand new 6.2 F-250 to pull stumps!!!
