Rust conversion paint/primer?
I keep on seeing this stuff.... its like a rust converter that converts rust to a primer.... i guess it like changes the chemical compound of it. Has anyone ever used it? my bed has some a pretty good layer of rust (no holes) and i was looking to paint it with that stuff and then paint it.

I have used it for years on industrial machinery. Don't have to worry about a great paint job but the stuff does convert rust (iron oxide ) to iron sulfide, a good primer. Only converts surface rust though. Will not work on heavy flakey rust. You still have to scrape or brush the heavy stuff off.
