Question Will this help????

I have a 1985 ltd crown vic 302 tbi I run at the dirt track the car runs does pretty good just lacking on the strait aways. I was wondering if i could install a 4 barrel intake and put bigger fuel injecters can i do this will it help and it does have a computer i also have acquired a 1986 cougar 302 tbi is their a difference in these 2 engines would it help to put the cougars computer in the crown vic or do yall have any suggestion that can add more horse power , i have advance the timing but not to much right now i think i got where its doing all it can do. Im building a 351 w right now also but it may not go into the crown vic

An 86 Cougar should be port injected not TBI.
All of the TBI's on the 5.0 were the same cfm, so it wouldn't help to swap it.
Changing it over to Port injection will help alot, but you would need the wiring harness and ECM and such from a donor car.

the 1986 cougar i have is a tbi

HMMM, must be an early 86. All 86-up I have seen are Port injected.
Anyway, It really wouldn't help to swap it. They are the same cfm.
