Emission Testing
Does anybody know if these new diesels with the strict emissions will be subject to testing? Here in Wisconsin, diesels don't need any testing currently, but I've heard of some states doing testing, usually visual inspections. Just wandering if the 08s and newer will have a tailpipe test or ECM scan like the gas vehicles do, to make sure all the new exhaust equipment is hooked up and functioning properly.

Its a bit too soon to tell..but these trucks are built to meet the new standards..so I dont see why they would have to be tested..they would pass anyway.
Now once people start modding, then maybe. Stock trucks will pass any emissions inspection under the new guidelines.
