I just got my truck back from the transmission place and it runs smooth as silk. What I need to repair or replace is the piece that has the detents in it which holds the shift lever in place. I don't know if I need to replace the whole column or if that piece can be replaced separately. Does anyone know where I can locate that piece and if it is unique to each year/model or will others fit for that purpose. Thanks and Happy New Year.
