Help locating a problem

The other day while driving along about 25mph the intrument panel on my 04 sd went wild it started to freak out by bouncing all over the place. The entire panel went all the way up and all the way back down several times before go right back to normal. Never happen before and has not happen since. Anyone know what might have cause this. thanks for the help Jimster

That's sounds like a ground issue. I'd start at the battery and work my way down the harness to the dash checking all the grounds.
