Other than emissions what is keeping us from running bio in the new trucks? Seems to me that would solve a lot of the problems. If anybody has any more info please let us know.

 

2 percent biodiesel is supposed to more than make up the lubricity lost with the ULSD.
I just read it on the biodiesel now website.

It is a relatively new additive from ford..
PM 18A an Anti-gel + performance improver - - winter use
PM 17A a cetane booster performance improver - summer use

Obtained in Anchorage at Rons 'the power stroke shop."

 

OK Folks, please keep in mind that this is the 6.4 Forum...it has been stated somewhere around here that Ford is advising against fuel additives for the 6.4 due to the Particulate Filter system.

We really need to find out more about this. As big a fan as I am of diesel fuel additives we must be very mindful of what we recommend in this forum until we have confirmation...one way or the other.
