Need VIN decode, QUICK!

I'm going to a car auction tomorrow and there'll be an old Ford truck. There's no picture of it. Here's the VIN: F10HRBB0661.

I can tell that it's an F100, but what year and what else can be told by the VIN?

It'll be available for dealers/dismantlers only. If it's interesting, then I need to find someone with a dealer/dismantler license.

Thanks, Ilya

I can`t help with the VIN but I`ll bump it up to the top. Keep us posted.

My best guess, trying to decipher the vin against what it might be:

F10HRBB0661
F10 = F100
H = engine 390 V8
R = San Jose assembly plant
E80661 - March 1969 build date

Let me know how far off I am

You sure that's the vin and not something else off the data plate? I looked, but no luck. Try here:

I'm at the auction now, and it does look to be a 69 F100. It's a decent and clean looking truck. It's burgundy with a burgundy interior. It is a "donated" vehicle. Doesn't run, with an unknown problem.

Oh, well. I had my hopes up thinking that it might be a 53-60.

This one I would love to have, burgundy/burgundy interior would be nice.
