1995 dually, lost the key fobb. Bought new one, FORD dealership doesnt know how to program the truck. I know that it says that you have to jump two pins in the left rear of something, But I dont know where and I dont know what pins. Someone out there in powerstroke land has GOT to have gone thru this scenario. Please help. Thanks in advance
right above the go pedal. there is a grey plug.
if i remeber correctly jump the 2 pins and the locks will cycle then push a button on the fob locks will cycle again.
Thats right, take a paper clip and open it up. Touch one end to one pin and the other to the other pin. Locks will cycle. Press the lock or unlock button on the fob and locks will cycle again. All set.
Hey guys, figured it out with your help. The key had to be on, and its that little gray clip RIGHT under the bottom of the dash. Hard to believe that the other ford dealer here in town wanted 50 bucks to do it, and the dealer I bought the fobb from said that they could NOT reprogram the truck. Took me less than two minutes, and thats putting on my coat, and flip flops, walking outside, jumping it, turning key on, jumping again, hitting fobb button, walking back in.... LESS THAN TWO MIUTES AND THAT DANG DEALERSHIP SAID THEY COULDNT DO IT!!!!!!! I cant wait till tomorrow to call them and tell em what I think of their "certified" mechanics.... GOD I hate stupid people............. thank the lord for this site though, thats for sure....ok, done with my rant........
