Keyless entry
I have a 2001 F250 s/c psd. the truck is an XLT, i remember reading somewhere that for 2001 ALL xlt's came with keyless entry, I have a remote but my truck won't go into program mode with 5 cycles of the key. Is there another way to program the transmitter, or even verify i have the entry system.

If you can't get into program mode, you either don't have a keyless security module or it's fried. The only way I know of to verify it would be check the pn on the vehicle sercurity module or have someone with a J2534 scanner try to comunicate with it.h
