351W Problem
Just pulled locked up 351W today. Because it was locked up, I can't turn it over. Is there a trick to getting to the bolts on the frontside of the flexplate to get the torque converter off?

take your time and try to pry the flex play away from the block with something so you can loosen and remove the torque converter bolts. Otherwise you could remove the whole crank from the engine for the easiest access with out bending the flex plate.

Forget about unbolting the TC until you get the motor out, there's no way to do it unless you use dynomite. Prying on the flexplate won't get you anything except a destroyed flexplate.. it's bolted to the crank under the converter. The TC should slide off the tranny input shaft if you can get the motor far enough forward. If not pull the engine and transmission together.
