Front end noise...

I gotta a '94 150 4x4, 42000 miles just replaced ball joints and wheel bearings and am STILL getting a good clunking from the right front side. Any ideas? Thanks in advance for the replies.

I have a '94 explorer that did the same thing. It was pretty bad, at times I could feel it through the steering wheel. I changed all the tie rod ends and it went away. I'd also check all the pivot brackets and bolts on the front end and make sure they're tight.

Ideas? sure. Possible worn out shocks or shock mounts, brake caliper flopping around due to worn slide surfaces, inner brake pad anti-rattle clip weak missing or installed incorrectly, Radius arm bushings loose (worn out). Somtimes shocks on these things can make a lot of noise and still work - well - sort of work...... Then there is all the 4x4 stuff - spindle bearings etc.
