i have spent 3 hours looking over past post, don't know if i have the answer or not. i have a 352 with a clarke 5speed starter sounds like crap. i have counted 188 tooth ring gear all i found on past post in that range was 184.
My starter has 9 teath. Should i be useing on with 10 for a 184 ring gear? or a different starter custom made for a bigger ring gear.you can see the pics in my gallerie i think
