idle problems
ive got a 351w and a c6 in a bronco and it does not like to idle right the only real change is the edelbrock rpm/air gap intake but still using the old 600 holley on it you se i can mess with the carb and it will idle just right untill i put it in gear then it will idle down and when im driving and stop somtimes it will die
so do you think it is just the old carb

It could be a vacuum leak. Hit everthing with carb cleaner while it is running and see if you notice a change in rpm at a certian point. If you do that tells you that there is a leak there. Just fix that and see how things are. Bet the problem is between the card spacer and intake.
