remote starter

I want to install a remote starter control in my 87 F-150 4x4 autotrans.Is there any info as to the best way to do it has anyone done this?what should I look for?? thanx

I have done it on several cars its not that hard they give a dvd and manual and 1-800 number to call but in recent years the price of them has dropped now around here you can buy them for 70 bucks but alarm shops here if you buy from them they install all together about 200 bucks its worth the extra money to get it done right with proffesional install but if your pretty good with radios and amps you can do it fairly easy you have to install relays and cut starter wires some kits come with adapter plugs some dont deffinatly not for begginers with air bags and such i did them in like 4 hours or so I AM NOT SAYING GO AHEAD AND DO IT if you have ANY doubts get it done proffesionaly
