Cranking problem.

Cranking problem.

Ok ya'll, i'm new here so bear with me please. I got a 1985 F-150 and it don't crank. New coil, distributor is good, ya kno. I did change out a piece onthe distrubtor(don't member the name) but it still won't. It turns over but won't fire up. Any help?

We need a little more info if we're to help you. What engine does it have? How's the battery? Have you checked the battery cables? The thing I've found to be the problem most of the time is the cables. Sometimes even if they look good, they can be corroded inside.

Ok, maybe i got this figured out. It is a 1985 F-150 with the module on the distributor, thats new. i changed the rotoray button/cap, that didn't work. it is a 4.9 l6 1bbl. Maybe that'll help ya'll. thanks for all the help
