My friend has a '66 F-250, LB, 2wd, 3/4 ton, 3 speed, 360ci, we are planning on dropping a rebuilt 302 into it this summer from a '84 F-250. The only thing we don't have is frame mounts for the motor, and I don't think that 302's came in a truck that old. Are there any frame mounts from a different year that we could use? We have numerous F-150's and F-250's for parts, so I'm hoping something might interchange.

Taz, There were a lot of 73-79 F100/150 XLTs with 302 engines. Just grab a pair of those perches and you'll be in bidness.

So 73-79 F-100/150 302 frame mounts will work in a '66 F-250? I thought the frames changed in '67?..

Eric, Everthing from the back of the cab to the front bumper, including the floor pan is exchangable from 65-79 so any pickup from 65 to 79 with a 302 or 351W is a candidate for the perches. Don't confuse the 351s though. The C & M will not work. :-)
