Strange Problem
Today has been a very bad day to be my truck. First I had a problem with vapor lock, now it seems to have moved into a whole other ballpark.
The motor runs great in park.
When shifted into drive it either bucks wildly or just stalls. Even if you take your foot off the brake.
The kicker: It works great in reverse.
What's wrong?
Could it be heat? Its very hot here today and I have a cat right next to the tranny/cooler lines.

Someone had a similar problem and it was traced to a wire shorting when the engine moved as it was put in gear. Another person had a similar strange problem with a broken wire inside the distributor. Another person had an internal valve body problem in the transmission. -Take your pick!
