ok i was burping my system like i have read people doing on here. i have a 79 f150 4x4 351m and i took the rad cap off and ran it for 15-20 min and it got up around 210 (its 97 degrees outside and i didnt have my shroud on.) so i turned the truck off and alla sudden antifreeze started gushing out of my cap neck like a foot and a half. WHAT THE HECK happened????? i am totally confused??? did i do something wrong??? thanks SoArkSI

 

After burping it you need to put the cap back on. Your truck is ok and you did nothing wrong.

 

oh ok i just needed to put the cap back on B4 i turned the motor off. that makes me feel better.
