[font size="1" color="#FF0000"]LAST EDITED ON 12-Nov-00 AT 04:07 AM (EST)[/font][p]hey yall, i been messin with my 79 ford with a 429 in it and im about ready for a new exhaust...right now its got some old blown out glasspacks out the back with some big 4 inch angled tips, (it sounds too poppy and fake to me) with manifolds, i wanna keep the manifolds, but im wondering if yall thinki should run some 30 inch glasspacks with 2 1/4 inch pipe out behind the rear wheels or something???

Chris, I don't have them, but have heard them, don't do anything without visiting a Flowmaster shop. They aren't redneck glasspacks, but make an awesome turbo sound.

You don't have to buy them, but don't buy before listening. ;-)

i dont like resonating sound they make in the cab...i had them on my 85 when i first bought it..also im not a big fan of the fake sound that tipe make, i think im gonna go with some 30 inch glasspacks and 2 1/4 pipe behind rear wheels...maybe some turbo mufflers, i dunnoo

Try 47 inch glass packs..or 40 inch....they have a nice deep tone to them
