02 Sensor

Will using an 02 sensor from a late model, OBD, on a odb2 system create problems? Help

Well, I can't make sense of your question from the way its written, but O2 sensors have changed several times over the years. One, two, three even 5 wire sensors. Plus, there are different outputs and inputs depending on the system.

You need to get the correct sensor for your vehicle.

Used Sensor

My friend got a used sensor (free). This was to correct his 1993 E350 had the engine light on. Put the used sensor on and no engine light but the van is lossing power after the engine operates at normal temp for several miles. Not sure what model the used sensor was on. I believe it came off of an emergency vehicle of some sort.

Generally the only reason a used sensor becomes available is because somebody replaced it. I wouldn't trust them because they're so tricky to test.
